Arizona Free Fishing Days for 2009

The Arizona Fish and Game Department has designated two days in June 2009 (6th and 13th) as FREE fishing days in Arizona. This means that you can fish without a fishing license those two days.
The goal behind these free fishing days is to encourage more people to fish.

But there's another advantage to non-trout anglers. They can fish "trout lakes" without having to worry about having a trout stamp - as long as they fish those lakes on the days designated as "free fishing days" in Arizona.

Happy fishing!

I think this is a great idea. To bad my state does not do this yet. I don't really agree with trout stamps though. Why is one fish treated different than another?
